In addition to being an illustrator, Adam is an author. Mock-ups for his picture books are available upon request. Alan Stewart Carl is a Texan writer of fiction, essays and miscellany. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Storyglossia, decomP, Flashquake, Emprise Review, Bull and other cool places. Additionally, he is a fiction editor for The Splinter Generation and is pursuing an MFA from Antioch University. Julie Christman lives in Brooklyn, NY where she sometimes writes, mostly about the bathroom, for her book Privy: The Curious History of My Bathroom (visit www.julyblue.com to read an excerpt). She received her MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College and she currently teaches freshman composition at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, The City University of New York. Caitlin Delohery writes short stories and long essays. She is the editor of the nascent Delicate Rhino Review and is a MacDowell Fellow. This is her first choose-your-own-adventure story. Marc Jaffee is an MFA graduate of Washington University; he currently lives in New York. He has been published in Hanging Loose, Brown Literary Review, and Best American Poetry. His piece is dedicated to KR. Kimiko Hahn is the author of eight books, including the forthcoming Toxic Flora (W.W. Norton). She teaches in the MFA Program at Queens College, The City University of New York. Jean Hartig received her MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College in 2007. Her work has appeared in Dirt, Sink Review, and Pax Americana, and her chapbook, Ave, Materia, selected by Fanny Howe as winner of a New York City Chapbook Fellowship, was published in April by the Poetry Society of America. She has worked as an associate regional editor for Lumina, the graduate literary journal of Sarah Lawrence, and as an editorial assistant at A Public Space. She is an editor at Poets & Writers Magazine and lives in Queens. Christina Murphy’s writing has been published in Modern Short Stories, New England Review, Greensboro Review, Crescent Review, and Descant, among others, and has received and Editor’s Choice Award and Special Mention for a Pushcart Prize. Since then she has been working as a *professional* children's book editor and *occasional* poet. One day she might flip those definitions. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband. David Shapiro is a tenured art historian at William Paterson University. He has written over twenty volumes of poetry and prose, including the first book on Ashbery, the first book on Jim Dine's painting, the first book on Johns's drawings and the first study of Mondrian's much tabooed flower studies. He has translated books from French and Spanish and edited a book on aesthetics: Uncontrollable Beauty. His most recent book, New and Selected Poems: 1965-2006, was published by Overlook Press in 2007. Lesley Weiner is a graphic designer who has always had a thing for objects. |
