Maya Pindyck is a poet and visual artist. Her collection of poems, Friend Among Stones, was published by New Rivers Press in 2009, and her chapbook, Locket, Master, received a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship in 2006. She lives in Brooklyn and is a doctoral candidate at Columbia University’s Teachers College.
